		<description>Lots of great ideas you have there and a great use for bin lids.  I also add in a few stones of different sizes with some that stick above the surface of the water, to act as perches.

I think with the relatively thin depth the bird bath will freeze quickly so a lot easier and much safer to tip the whole lot out and refill each time.   Never walk around with containers of hot or boiling water!</description>
